Well, you should first work at a restaurant that is fancy and that is not very busy so that you wouldn't be too pressured, like Olive Garden or Red Lobster. You should practice carrying plates because you wouldn't want to make a mistake. You should also practice on greeting your customer and always smile. That's most of the basic stuff you should know. Oh and I don't think it will be very easy to work at Chili's cause they have lots of customers. But just to make sure you should probably dine there at least once so you would know if it's easy.
